The Dimentional Chaos of Worlds - Chapter 0ne

Out on a quest to find some bothersome Bandits who had stolen from the merchants who was carrying food for all the soldiers, Ranmza heard a very odd noise followed by a bright flash of light.

"Huh?" She blinked, not having the foggiest idea what was going on.

She leapt over to the general area where the light had came from, and to her surprise she found a black-haired woman in what seemed to be very odd clothing lying on the ground.

"Man... Poor thing, she must had gotten attacked." Ranmza thought aloud. With that, she checked for signs of life, and was relieved to find that the unconscious woman was still breathing. She then picked up the woman, thinking to herself that her quest could wait for now as she leapt into the air with amazing grace and strength.

An hour later, Ranmza was at her home with the strange woman lying in her bed while she made tea and waiting for the woman to wake up.

With a groan that could almost be mistaken for an animalistic growl, she slowly sat up and lifted her hand to her face. "Man, what was in that thing that he threw?" she muttered, not immediately aware that she was not alone.

Ranmza smiled. It seemed that this woman would be fine after all.

"You must have a rough time out there. Please do have some of my tea." Ranmza walked over to the side of her bed, holding a tray of teacups. She placed the tea down on a nearby side table before sitting down by the strange woman. She then looked over at her and said, "You know, it’s not a good idea to fight Bandits alone on your own until you're strong enough. What is your name? My name's Ranmza."

"Huh? How'd I get here? Where is here?" she paused long enough to let what Ranmza said sink in. "Bandits? I wasn't...well I wouldn't call him a Bandit...more like a very annoying and irritating villain. Oh, forgive me. My name is Abenti Galger."

Ranmza raised her eyebrows. "Abenti... that's a nice name. I found you lying unconscious out in the forest, and you are lucky that the Bandits out there did not get to finish you off before I managed to save you. So what's this about a villain?"

Abenti's eyebrows furrowed as she was possibly getting more confused. "His name is Sesmar and he stole something very precious from a friend of mine. He had his minions attempt to stop me, but they only slightly slowed me down before I cornered him. Before I knew what was going on, he hurled some sort of object at me and the next thing I know, I'm waking up here."

Ranmza looked at Abenti with interest, although a hint of worry was there too. "It would seem that there's been more efficient thieving going on around here lately. Bandits attacked even the Merchants who was carrying food to all the soldiers out at all the outposts. It would seem that nobody is safe from thieves anymore. So what object did he throw at you, and did he tell you what it might have been?"

"I...don't know what he threw at me. He said something about dimensional chaos of the worlds...I think."

Ranmza then sighed. "Nothing I know about. Some Taoists may know something about it, though. The next time I go to the promotional center, I'll have to talk with the Master Taoists about that."

"Taoists?" Abenti was now definitely confused, and her curiosity was piqued.

Ranmza looked at Abenti funny. "You don't know what Taoists are?"

"No...Where I'm from, there aren't any Taoists. Only a group of female warriors blessed by the planetary deities that they represent."

Ranmza blinked.

"Interesting. Well, I guess I have to tell you. Taoists are the Sages and Wizards of the world, and they can be very destructive in everything they do, or they can be equally helpful, and can even bring people back from the dead if monsters or any other types of villains kill them. They're the ones who know about everything magic, including many unusual objects." Ranmza then grinned. "Of course, I'm not anything so grand. I'm nothing but a simple warrior for hire."

Warrior for hire? So I'm assuming that sailor senshi don't exist here.... Abenti mentally thought. And if that's true, then how will it affect me in the long run? Can I still transform? What about Tiger? Can she still emerge?

Ranmza noticed Abenti's distressed expression. Thinking that Abenti must have still been upset about the loss of her friend's item, and having been attacked by Sesmar, Ranmza tried to think of a way to cheer her up.

"Are you quite fine to move about now? I could take you to the Taoists now, if you want. They just might be able to tell you something useful to help you in your quest."

With an outward sigh, she sipped on the tea before nodding. "I have nothing else to do, and no idea how to get back to where I was. It looks like a trip to the Taoists is the only logical course of action."

Ranmza smiled. "Now, don't be so down. I'm sure you'll get to complete your quest. Just let me put on my armor and I'll be ready to go."

With that, she went behind a Chinese-style folding screen for privacy to change. After a few minutes, she stepped out into view. She was now in her full warrior gear, oddly looking like a medieval warrior although the purple and sliver colors weren’t that usual of the time. The dark purple made her blue hair seem eye-catching. She then grabbed her impossibly big, glowing blue sword and a purple & gold shield.

Abenti looked down at her own clothes and felt vastly underdressed. If she's wearing all that just so we can go see some Taoist...then I'd be dead before I know it.

Ranmza smiled at Abenti. "Well, I'm ready to go." She then looked at Abenti's expression. "What's wrong?"

"Well, I kind of feel out of place. I'm not from here and comparing to what you're wearing, I feel like...well, that I'm underdressed."

Ranmza then looked at Abenti's clothes. She then raised her eyebrows. "Well, I must admit that your clothes do seem impractical."

"They were meant for my job when I'm not tracking down Sesmar." Abenti muttered as she unconsciously tried to straighten out a wrinkle in her nurse's outfit. "He attacked not far from where I worked."

Ranmza smiled as a thought came to her. "Aha! I know. I have a few spare clothes that I can't wear due to them being too small for me. They'd be perfect for you. How about I give you them?"

That'd be most appreciated." Abenti said with a shy smile.

Ranmza rummaged though her item box, which appeared to be a bright red trunk and pulled out a yellow and black outfit, handed it to Abenti.

"Here you go. It was that one robe that I couldn't wear at all." She then pointed to the screen. "You can change back there for privacy."

Abenti nodded and changed behind the privacy screen.

After a few moments, Ranmza then called out. "You okay back there? Are you done?"

"Yes. I'm done." Abenti replied as she came out from behind the privacy screen. She had pulled down her hair since one of the bands holding her hair up had been frayed to the point of almost breaking.

Ranmza looked Abenti over and gave a low whistle. "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were starting out as a Taoist."

Ranmza then led Abenti outside, and before Abenti knew it, Ranmza was leaping all over the place like a crazed Gummi Bear. She was moving so fast that it took Ranmza some time to realize that Abenti wasn't keeping up with her. Therefore, Ranmza leapt back, and looked at Abenti with concern.

"What's the matter? Are you not feeling well to be able to jump?"

"I can jump, but not like that. You looked like you were a hyperactive sugar infused kid bouncing off of everything...."

Ranmza scratched her head. What kind of person couldn't jump that well? "Is that so? Well, I guess we'll do it the slow way then. I'll walk."

Ranmza walked with Abenti, and along the way, Abenti had the chance to see the kind of world she was going to spend an unknown amount of time living in. She saw strange-looking red birds that looked like owls, although Ranmza called them Robins. She also spotted other birds along the way called Pheasants though they too were different from the Pheasants from Earth. Most of all, this seemed to be a world totally devoid of any form of advanced technology. It was as if she was lost in time.
